Membership is open to everyone who shares our mission to reduce drowning incidents in New Jersey.
The New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance (NJSSA) is a network of aquatic professionals and swim safety advocates in the state of New Jersey, whose purpose is to unify all aquatic organizations into a cooperative, collaborative family.
Our primary mission is to advocate for the safe and enjoyable conduct of the critical life skill of swimming. If you believe your company would be a suitable partner and shares our goals, we would like to offer you the opportunity to become a member of our growing organization.
The support of our members allows us to continue to advocate for water safety throughout the state. Our initial marketing campaign has distributed postcards and marketing materials to hospital maternity wards, pediatricians, pre-schools, and swim programs in an effort to educate parents on the importance of water safety.
Our growing network of professionals from all aspects of drowning prevention education now has the attention of key legislators, influencers, and decision-makers. To ensure success, diverse voices and perspectives are needed.
Our roundtable Zooms have included collaborative discussions with NJ State senators, aquatic industry leaders, Olympians, and directors of national organizations such as Diversity in Aquatics, the US Swim School Association, the Stew Leonard III Foundation, and more!
Thank you for diving in. Your support will help NJ reduce drowning by 30% by 2030.
